Caregivers Support Initiative – Also known as We Help Caregivers, this Initiative provides free support services to those caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease and memory disorders in northern New York, across Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren and Washington Counties.

Family Counseling Center– The Family Counseling Center is currently offering a free of charge call-in service to any individual wishing to speak to a mental health professional. This non-crisis “warm-line” will be staffed by trained Family Peer Advocates, ready to assist in a variety of ways. 1-518-725-4310 extension 333

Headspace- at this time Headspace is offering free access to their popular mindfulness app for educators and healthcare professionals. Update* Headspace is giving people free access to some of its mindfulness exercises, meditations, and sleep experiences. The company launched a new landing page today designed with New Yorkers, who are experiencing the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, in mind. Headspace says the free offerings are the result of a partnership with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

SOLOS- Survivors of Loved Ones to Suicide online groups open to family and friends in the Washington, Saratoga and Warren county areas that are struggling with the loss of a loved one related to these types of deaths. Meetings will take place at a scheduled time and date online once every 2 weeks and will be strictly confidential. Reach out to facilitators to learn more and register. Jason M.
