Welcome to the Greenwich Free Library’s Summer Reading Program!

Join us for a fun filled summer of reading challenges, programs and, PRIZES!

June 20, 2020 – August 29, 2020

Take a stroll around town and visit our poetry walk, stop by our social media pages to participate in a virtual story, participate in our virtual Summer Reading Building Blocks programs, sign-up for a virtual book club or just join the reading challenge for a chance at winning a great prize.

This year we are happy to announce that we have opened up our summer reading challenge to all age groups. Read, log your time, and be entered into our drawings for great prizes no matter what your age.

How the Reading Challenge works:

1 Download the ReaderZone App onto your mobile device. Reader Zone can be downloaded from both Google Play Store and the Apple App Store

2 In less than a minute you can create a new account and join into our Summer Reading Program by entering the code e2c58

3 Select which reading age group applies to you
(you can sign up multiple readers in one account, if you are an adult with a child reader who does not have their own mobile device, signup in the app as yourself and then add however many readers you need).

4 Start reading and logging your time starting June 20th!

That’s it!

Each age group has different time goals, meet those goals and you will be entered in our drawing for great prizes!

If you are unable to use an app on a mobile device you can also sign-up and log your minutes on the readerzone webpage using the same code, e2c58.

For a short video showing how to setup the readerzone app click here.

Within the readerzone app you will see an age specific book bank. These are not required reading, simply suggestions selected by our outreach librarian. You can edit your book bank as you see fit.
